Thanks guys. She's still young but in 100,000km I will need to do timing chains since I'm planning on driving the x5 into the ground.

Front windows aren't tinted. It's the angle the lighting is hitting them that makes it look tinted

Sweet, please do a video on that. I'll probably swap out the chain at some point as well, but probably not as soon as you would.

That looks amazing. Care to go into a bit more detail on how the work was done.. also the logo on the tach is the icing on the cake! How'd you do that?

Autocrossed the X5d a couple weeks ago a local track. Upgraded suspension definitely made a big difference in turns

Replaced front control arms, tension struts (pressed in solid rubber X5m bushing) and tie rods

Back in 2018 the centre partition flooded injector 5 & 6 which I replaced. Injector 4 was fine back then but 2 years later 4 started to die. It was under fuelling 11% at full throttle.

From July-September I racked up 12,000KM on road trips within the Provence and had zero issues. Currently sitting at 163,8xxKM

Wasn’t fun cleaning this

Reminder of what my stock X5d looked like when I first got it

Retrofitted knee bolsters

Made a wireless charger and phone holder

Browsing Facebook marketplace paid off! Scored a Merino leather dash, Merino door cards, Merino knee pads, CF trim and Individual audio. Feels like I'm driving a new X5d and the interior is plush

Definitely one of my favorite builds and E70's... Love it.. the dash and cards made a REALLY nice difference... im not jealous

Those knee bolsters were a basic swap? meaning no modifications needed?

Thanks guys
To secure the knee pads you'll need a center console skeleton from a x5m or X6 because regular e70s don't have the mounting points

A 3 hour mountain drive turned into a 7 hour drive when we hit an unpredicted snow storm. X5d with snow tires was a beast climbing unplowed hills with 25cm of fresh snow

Nice truck sunny. One of the nicer e70's for sure. Msport aero on the diesel e70 is very limited company. Wish I were a member.

Hey bro , couple questions how do you like the bilstein b8 and did you have to used bumps stops on them or they're build in to the shocks?

I'm happy with the ride quality. The B8's are only on the front so can't speak to having them in all 4 corners. I ended up going with new factory bump stops because eibachs lower the x5 about 1.2"
