iPhone Help
Anyone here good with iPhones?
I have a new business phone I received (iPhone ProMax 14) and I was disconnected from Verizon yesterday...it shows 'SOS' in the top right. I have reset the phone, restarted, etc and the network won't come back on. I tried signing out of my Apple ID and now I can't sign back in since they have a 2 step authentication process. I still have my old iPhone (12 pro) and I'm wondering if it's an issue since iPhones use electronic SIM cards? Anyone have an idea of what the heck is going on? |

Are you using your old number? Did you transfer from your old physical sim to the esim?
When I moved from my 12 ProMax to the 14 ProMax, the Apple store wanted to charge me some fee for and upgrade saying that it coming from Verizon. I knew it was BS so walked to the Verizon store in the mall and the sales transferred my old number over the the esim at no cost. Quick and easy. I'd go to a Verizon location to get it resolved. Edit:

Yes, I've done that. Thanks. I did that initially when I set the phone up. The issue is, I was kicked off the Verizon network yesterday for some reason and now I'm basically 'shut down.' No idea what's going on. Verizon told me they can't help since it's a business phone...I have to call IT tomorrow I guess..

So when did you get the phone? You say “I was disconnected…” but did the ever have a connection and then lose the connection or it has never worked since you got it?

I've had it since Wednesday. Everything fine until yesterday afternoon when the phone literally went dead and went into SOS mode.

Have you...
...toggled Airplane Mode on and back off again? ...and then restarted it with the up/down press and hold until logo method? ...reset Network settings? |

So Apple experienced a nationwide issue with esim cards Saturday afternoon. It kicked everyone off the Verizon network.
Now, since I have a business phone, they can't help me in any Verizon store so I have to work with my IT dept. SUCH A JOKE - ESIM CARDS ARE TRASH |

Sounds like BS, I'm on Verizon and have had no issues with the eSIM in my 14.

Ahh, I read nationwide and I think the entire country... must have been mostly out west as no reports of VZ outage here in the east. Hopefully you IT folks get it sorted quickly.
