What is inside catless Downpipe? (sorry beginner)
What is inside a catless Downpipe?
(sorry beginners question) is it basically an empty straight pipe with hole for O2 sensor? Becuase if yes, i can probably ask my local exhaust shop to make one and save money compared to buying branded ones. Thanks in advance |

Yes, it's a tube with holes for o2 sensors.
A flex pipe is also a good addition. I found this one for a decent price http://www.vr-speed.com/performance/...6-x5m-x6m.html |

I have the N55 as well and purchased the my down pipe from VRSF, its of great quality and the shop that installed it said the same. Honestly, the amount you will pay for a custom mandrel bent pipe of 3in and the bungs welled for the 02's your probably spend more having one fabed vs. buying one form VRSF. IMO though. if you know of a "guy" who can do what you want then go for it. I'm also curious about your MHD tune did you have to send in the ECU for dme removal? Im getting all the silly stuff done before having it tuned.
