Decided to sell my 2011 X5M with 99,xxx miles. Meticulously mainted by bmw, have records showing all repairs and no open recalls. It has an after market transferable bumper to bumper warranty good for another 57,000 miles or 2021, which ever comes first. The only option that it doesn’t have is rear entertainment, the VIN decoding is pasted below. Vehicles drivetrain is stock and never modified by any of the previous two owners. Vehicle has had a paint correction and is ceramic coated. Both front tires were replaced by insurance after running over a tie strap on the road which punctured the drivers side tire and gouged the lower portion of the fender. I do have pictures to show the damage. I got them to repaint the front bumper, side skirts and rear fender extenders with the claim.

Will work buyer to ship or can accommodate airport pickup. I wouldn’t hesitate driving this vehicle cross country with my family in it. Haven’t had any issues over the 15,000+ miles of ownership.

Looks like a very well maintained X5M! Who is the warranty through? Have you had any issues using it?

The warranty is through 1st US Auto Protect. It’s the Platinum warranty with a $100 disappearing deducatable. The actual expiration date is 5/37/2021 or 156,000 miles which ever comes first. There’s also additional 24/7 365 coverage for towing, flat tires, lockout, battery, and fuel. This warranty covers everything to include gaskets and seals and a rental vehicle if needed.

I have never had to use the warranty but the previous owner has on a couple occasions and said he had no issues. BMW did the warranty work with no issues on their end getting the claim done.

So the warranty I’m guessing is brokered through Fortegra. Here is the website http://www.fortegra.com/auto

I also attached a picture below of the brochure they sent me with the transfer. I’ll call as well to see what’s all needed and to get a price, I paid $50 for the transfer so I am going to assume it would be the same but you never know.

Brand new rear tires put on today! Fronts were replaced June/July.
