On a side note, I've put in a ton of laps at that track, and while it is probably my favorite, it also scares me to death. That last turn (Turn 17) is insane - you come down that straight full out for nearly a mile and then take that turn in 3rd gear at a very high rate of speed, praying that you don't hit that bump wrong, which always seemed to occur, essentially making my car jump off the ground and shift what seemed like several feet (likely several mm's). Scary shit.

That's a VERY different sound compared to what the Corvette's have been known for in the past. Not even a slight difference, completely different.

Interested to hear what the powerplant is.

Agreed. I really like the sound, though. Sounds like either a flat plane V8 a la Ferrari or a 6cyl TT. Unsure. Nice though.

It's a full blown racing sequential gearbox like all the other competitors are using along with the current C7R.

Agreed, sounds good but the old sound was so different than every other manufacturer. Sounded like thunder coming down the straight! Will be missed
