Wire color for reverse light

I'm striking out with searching. I'm trying to figure out which wire is used for the reverse lamp(s) on my 2011 X6M. I can use my tester...if I can find someone to occupy the drivers seat with it in reverse.

Where are you looking?

The car won't let you be in reverse with the parking brake on? Depending where you are, I've got a right foot (I'm in Aloha).

I'm looking at splicing into the tail light harness. Either side, doesn't really matter to me.

How about identifying the color by looking at the wiring at the reverse light bulb socket?

Better backup lights. The camera on the passenger side is in a shadow when trying to parallel park. Ive got some LED strips to put under the running board and rear bumper and want them to come of when I put the car in reverse.

It would be cooler if I could code the door handle lights to come on with the parking assistance but dont have those skills.
