iPhone mic volume
I'm using iPhone first generation with firmware 2.0 over bluetooth and people complain that my voice seems far and low. Anyone experiencing this and how can it be resolved?

Not really. Depends on the phone. Some suck. Some don't. First I have heard of the old iPhone having issues though.

In the US I believe you need to order several additional parts to get the snap in adaptor to work. Other countries supposedly if you order the phone option, all you need to do is order the snap-in adaptor for the specific phone; the phone tray comes pre-installed.

*** KNOWN ISSUE ***
When Apple released OS 2.0 the Bluetooth problems began. I switched from the original iPhone to the 3G iPhone and I basically can no longer use my phone. The Bluetooth echo is so bad its not worth even using. There are lots of BMW owners up in arms about this. We are anxiously awaiting OS 2.1 due in September. See some of the threads in the Apple support forums. It;s a widely known problem, volume and echo issues. NOT FIXED with 2.0.2. I have it on both of the iPhones in my family. http://discussions.apple.com/thread....98650&tstart=0 |
