2013 BMW X6 -coolent issue

Hi Guys,

I faced an issue with the oil mixing with the coolent last week and got the gasket oil filter, oil cooler and oil changed last week and now i had a coolent low sign and when i checked there was a leakage from the coolent (milky brown color), not sure what the issue is. Has someone faced a similar issue?

Oil and coolant mixing is usually a sign of a blown head gasket or warped heads. I’d suggest trying a leak down test of the cylinders. If they compression is low then it’s likely the head gasket or warped heads.

When replacing the head gaskets I’d also suggest having the heads rebuilt, checked for flatness and milled if needed.
