X6 50i Wheel Spacer

Hi there, would like to know how to measure the correct gap for the wheel spacer. Is it from the edge of the fander to the top edge of the tires? Thank you everyone.

I don't know if there is any special gap but where did you get your spacers?
Thanks

If you want it full flush, it'll be from top edge of the fender to the top edge of the tires. That way, it'll be flat when you look from the top but the bottom sides of the tires will be outside the fender area. It will look good but it will also kick out much more mud & dirt.. Just fyi. I was using spacers with wider tires (285s vs 265s) and wheels (22x10.5) in my prev suv (FX) and regardless if you have mud flaps or not, it'll kick out dirt to the side of the vehicle all the time..

I'd also measure the distance between the top, horizontal part of the tire to the bottom of the upper part of the fender. If you'll be using springs, you don't want it to rub to the fender. I doubt it will since there's a huge space there even with the lower springs but just wanted to warn..
