As the subject line indicates, I have a Velos handheld tuner and battery tender. The Velos handheld came with my old 2012 X5M but I was never able to use it as the tune on the handheld was no longer valid because the ECU had been re-flashed at some point by the dealer. Velos said that I had to buy a new tune (discounted because I already had the tuner) as they would need to re-map the ECU. Seeing that these tunes are all basic canned flashes, their pricing is up there with what people charge for custom tunes...with that said, what did Velos say it'd cost (discounted) for them to go outta their way and (tongue in cheek at them) and simply change the VIN so it can still flash another vehicle?
