E70 rear cargo bracket/strut kits back in stock.

I got the new batch of the rear cargo kit bracket/strut supports back in stock today.

If anyone needs one I can ship them out on the next mailing day.

Thanks again to everyone who has already ordered one!

I recently ran out brackets for the e70 cargo cover kits and several people contacted me to see when more would be available.

I am happy to announce that the cargo bracket kits are now back in stock and ready to ship.

Thanks again to everyone that has already purchased a kit and those that expressed interest in buying them in the future!

Thanks for the order.

I shipped the first batch over the weekend then ran out of the support struts and my shipment for more got delayed. I expect them to come in Friday and I will ship the rest of the orders on saturday.

Out of curiosity how many of you would choose to pay $10 more for an OEM stabilius support strut? I haven't had any issues at all with the BOXI units (not a single failure that I know of yet knock on wood) but I have found a source for a stabilius shock that I could provide as an upgrade option.

I am not sure that the stabilius units are necessarily "better" given that they always seem to fail on my e90 and e46 trunks but some like to buy the OEM brand.

Thanks again for all of the support!

Yes I have them in stock with either the cheaper aftermarket shock or the OEM stabilus one. If you order tonight it will ship tomorrow.

I have separate pay buttons for them on the website.

Thanks for your interest!

Did not know I wanted or needed this until I saw someone else install it. Just bought one; thank you for providing these!

*edit*

Received and installed.

FYI, I noticed in this thread that different members have installed the strut in different directions. According to the OEM strut, it seems like the "thin" part should be installed on the cargo lid and even has the words "Front" on it. I plan on installing it the same way.

Probably doesn't make any difference anyway but thought I'd throw this out there for anyone else wondering.

The rod side should always be on the bottom... It isn't that critical but it helps the seals stay lubricated, etc. Some car manufacturers install them "upside down" from the factory though...

Just placed my order after a frustrating day of supporting that dam cargo lid with a 2x4.
So hack!
Thank you for this nice solution...

The kit is for the regular e70 with the larger cargo cover and not e70s without 3rd row seating. I don't have a 3rd row e70 but I dont think there are mounting points for such a kit on the 3 row versions.
