Is the f85 suspension so different from the E70?

I'm curious if I can get the H&R VTF kit to fit the E70, or at least learn why H&R doesn't make a kit for the E70.

The part numbers for the front springs are different for the E70 vs F85, but the upper & lower spring pads are the same. Contact Ben at RG Sport to confirm, nice guy!

I have a thread about this already. If vendors had supported me I would have been able to test the VTF kit on my E70 X5M which i have a suspicion will fit perfectly.

Maybe one day if I can be bothered and I have some cash to spare i'll order an F84 VTF kit and install it on my E70 X5M (99% sure it'll fit and work perfectly).

What's the point? I've bought coilovers in past vehicles to go lower than springs would allow, but I've lowered mine 2" on H&R springs w/ lowering links for like $250 and it sits perfectly on 20's and 22's. Adjustable spring sleeves can be found all over eBay for $50 if you're already on lowering springs, but I still don't see the point. Wheel size/gap aside, I've had 3 cars lowered on coilovers and never once had some desire to randomly lift it back up, get another alignment and then wanna go lower again at a later date.

Good points, I've only come from cars with airbags and coil overs, so I like a level car. The springs seem to lower with a raked look on the x5M... I've seen these on the newer models and they drop 1.7" and are level, they are said to feel close to stock and ride well. Was thinking to give them a shot.
