Does anyone have any experience with extended warranty from Safety Net Warranty?

Not specifically - but don't get anything other than 'exclusionary'. Otherwise, you're probably better off just setting the money aside and self-funding any issues

^^^This, exactly! Don’t be fooled by all the stuff listed in their brochure. Believe me, when it comes to claim time, they’ll sleaze their way out of covering you. Something like “yes sir, we cover the basic Johnson Rod, but not the model required to repair your car” or other BS like that.

I saw an extended warranty for an X5M. They are roughly $100 / month. for 3 years. 40K miles. Supposedly covers almost everything. For example for brakes it says calipers, etc ... and it also does say actuators. And just recently my parking brake actuator died on my X5M. So, it seems it would be covered? I'm going to take it in next week, but how could they weasel out of that one?

Yes, speaking from experience. Was presented as 'one of the best' and the top coverage they offered (but wasn't exclusionary).
Has been a pain working with them, they only partially covered a Vanos solenoid repair (covered the part, but not the other stuff that has to be removed to get to it). The rear air suspension was not covered since it was 'leaking' and not a 'failure'. Holding out hope that it will cover in the event of anything catastrophic (knock on wood). |

I am about to do that. Just ordered some new race pads and will be getting everything done at once. Will update you on it. It seems the actuator is fairly easy to get to, under neath the truck, but the part was about $1K for OEM. LOL. So, I'll try. and, luckily the warranty is cancellable any time if you don't actually have a successful claim. We'll see what happens!!....
