X5 35d Clutched Alternator Pulley Spacer

I was planning on replacing my alternator pulley with a clutched pulley. I was going to buy it from one of the suppliers with the spacer but I had the INA-5350183100 in my cart when I placed an order with FCPEURO. After I realized it, I couldn't cancel the order since it was already in process. I may be able to still return it, but would need to pay return shipping. I asked the suppliers offering the pulley with the spacer if they would sell me just the spacer, but so far no luck.

I was hoping I could just use a washer or washers as a spacer. Is anyone able to post a close up picture of the spacer with dimensions (inside hole size, thickness)?

Might have better luck finding this answer on the “NADBOG” group on Facebook. I have a clutched alternator pulley but I think I was given the setup for a 335d so I didn’t get the spacer, but idk I can’t remember if I did. I’ll try to find it and let you know.

You’d be better off contacting a machine shop or something to make you one.

The back face of my pulley sits ~1.65mm (.065in) away from the alternator. I'm not sure if that is the exact thickness washer you would need, but at least you can use that to find a washer of the correct thickness at a hardware store. You'll have to measure the shaft to figure out what ID washer you'll need.

I'm pretty sure most washers of this size will be ~.063in thick so that should do you just fine.

Thank you for the replies. I did get a response from IDPARTS.COM and placed my order there:
