Question F85 X5M H&R kit on E70 X5M?

One of my friends is selling his brand new F85 X5M 1.3" lowering kit for cheap. Was just wondering if it'll fit our E70 X5M's. They visually look the same to me:

E70 X5M

If anyone has any input on this i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

As can be seen from the attached weight info on both F85 and E70 X5M there is a small weight difference of 108 lbs. the F85 is lighter but weight distribution is almost the same. So the weight of the front springs should be the same or very close. I'll be speaking to H&R next week about the different lowering settings for the cars.

For now I am leaning towards ordering the F85 1.3" kit for my E70 M as the springs are the same design and will (should) fit.

Should also provide the best setting between the 2.0" and 1.2" kit for the E70 M. We shall see.

They do. It's a lowering of 1.3" all around but it's the front 1.3" I'm interested in. I would adjust the rear links accordingly.

I'll report back once I hear back from H&R about the spring weights.

The spring rates for all the above kits is the same so now to decide whether i should go for the for the 1.3" kit or the Adjustable one from H&R:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...gs/23008-1~hr/

Since this is my DD and i dont want to mess with the height once set i think i'll probbaly go for the 1.3" F85 kit as it should give me a good comfortable ride and just the Right amount of drop without creating bounciness.

Stay tuned folks, i'll be placing my order this week and install as soon as they come in.
