oh snap :-( Well they supposedly have re-manufactured engines from Germany but folks are waiting like 6 months for them. So maybe buy one from a wrecked car?

Update: Decided to get a brand new 2019 BMW X5 40i M Sport instead. Got a decent trade-in value for my 2012 X5 50i M Sport and a great deal on a fully loaded demo. Don't throw good money after bad money as they say! Thanks for your input and suggestions.
