Yes, I read that too, but still no other info is available. The April production availability was confirmed by my BMW salesman, but I still can't build an X5 with the M Sport Pacakge on www.bmwusa.com. I am going to talk to my salesman today and see if they have any more info.

FYI...the bmwusa.com website now has the ability to add the M Sport Package to the X5. I went to my dealership yesterday and placed an order for a 2009 E70 X5 4.8 M Sport Package.

You are correct, M Sport Package is $6,500. Optional 20" M wheels (style 227M) are an additional $950.
