it's true, the demand for more expensive cars are increasing exponentially at the rate of growth that's going on in china. Added with the shitty roads to this day and moshpit traffic, it would make much more sense to buy an X5M or X6M over a M5 or M6 which will probably get trashed within a month.

I love it! I have a 4.8 X5 now for work and my M3 for weekend / track use.. I just drove the X5 600 miles from Texas at a average speed of 95 and really enjoy it and cant wait for the X///M.. The X5 is very comfortable and great for long trips. The 4.8 is a amazing engine and cant wait to drive a twin turbo.

I can guarantee you drive a X5 4.8 vs a Range Rover Sport vs a Cayenne S you will chose the X5. Far Superior in power and comfort.

Pittyfull attempt

I must honestly say. I am not impressed with this. The front spoiler is a bit too aggressive. The rear and sides could use a little more styling. It seems to sit a bit high as well. Plus the brakes look a bit too standard. All this is, is a normal X5 in disguise. Thats all. If they should come out with an M version of an SUV than it might as well be the X6. Not the 5 or 3. So. this vehicle here only deserves 2 thumbs down IMO.

Doubt that's the final set of rims.

Makes perfect sense: you live in Canuckland Hey, I can say that, lived in Winterpeg and an M SUV would've made more sense there.

I saw what appeared it might be an X6 M while I was at the BMW Performance Center this weekend. It had the BMW logos blacked out and the sides had the black tape over the edge that goes down the side. It appeared to have a real sporty rear bumper, front bumper, and bulge in the hood.

I won't be buying one of these things but I bet they'll do well performance wise once they're released to the media for testing.
SO if the front air dam, rear diffuser, exhaust and wheels are different, what exactly is ALMOST IDENTICAL to Sport package X5 side from it being called an ///M-Sport?

They made this Truck for people who already have ///M3/5's and want an SUV as well....As opposed to bleeding sales to Range, Porsche and Mercedes...
