Power Steering Pump - Active Steering

Goodmorning everyone,
First of all I would like to thanks this forum where you can find lots of really useful information.

I have an X5 4.8i (2008) and my power steering pump get burned. From realoem site its code is 32416781018 as I have the active steering (S217). The new pump costs more than 1000 euro and considering age of the car and the fact that within a year I will change it, I would like not spend too much. I found a new pump at around 300 euros that would be good (code 32416781015) which however is not suitable for those who have active steering like me. Do you think I can install the 300 uro pump or, apart from the active steering that I guess will not work anymore, I could have some other problems?
