Pentosin 1058107 for transmission fluid

I want to change the oil in my trans to see if shifting would get better and came across Pentosin 1058107 which it is stated to fit my 2013 BMW X5 35d but I don't see any reviews on it?

I have used Pentosin brand (not ATF1) before on my e90 M3 DCT and it is great brand/quality. I am wondering if using Pentosin 1058107 would be good as well.

Generally stick to ZF lifeguard or OEM Bmw fluid, transmission is too expensive to cheap out couple $.
Plus you have to refresh it every 60tkm by the ZF recommendation.
7 liters-quarts cost aprox 200$.

Haven't read much about the Pentosin ATF but I'm going to go with Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic ATF when I change mine in the next few thousand miles.

Realistically if the ATF meets Shell M-1375.4 requirements, which is the spec for the ZF transmissions (at least for the 6HP can't speak for the 8HP), then you're good to go. ZF Lifeguard just seems way overpriced to me and Amsoil is a great brand.

Ive used atf1 in the past on the 550i and 335i with the zf tranny. No problems whatsoever. Then I’ve use aftermarket(forgot the brand) atf for the audi’s that had the zf tranny also. Like mentioned above, as long as it meets spec , your good.

I used Liqui Moly ATF 1800 in my x35d the last oil change. I believe it's good for the 8hp as well as the 6hp. It was a good price on Amazon too. Haven't looked into the Pentosin.

Check out FCP Euro. I got 8 liters of ZF Lifeguard 8HP fluid and a new pan/filter combo with hardware for $253 delivered.

I sell Pentosin, among other lines, and that fluid does not meet the spec for your vehicle.

Go with the Lubri-Moly 1800, ZF Lifeguard 6, Redline D6 Gl-4, or Motul Multi-ATF.

Is this the same fluid you'd use in the 13' X5M transmission. Same 6-speed I believe?

Price must have gone up as it's $329 now. Do they typically have sales throughout the year?

Looks like my M has a different filter kit and fluid. The one you are posting is for the 50i and 35i and d models.

Correct. On the M you don't swap out the pan when you do a transmission fluid change. Just fluid and filter - and other small bits (sleeves, mechatronics solenoids, etc.) if you feel the need while you're in there.
