New X5M owner

Hey folks;

After 300,000 miles of, um, 'joy' in an Anthracite E39 M5, I've found my next ride for now & I'm happy to be here....

A low mileage, late 2013 build, Carbon black / Black perforated 'complete' leather interior, well optioned beauty appeared after much searching at a Texas BMW dealership and after I decided against a car payment on a gorgeous 2015 F85 (Melbourne/ Aragon), I scored this $102K original listed beauty! Pics soon

Someone welcome me aboard please...

u very lucky for all these reasons, I'm thinking my color is somewhat rare but yours is on the other level! I don't actually think I saw one in person!

Yep, I had one exactly as yours (1 of 30). When I traded it in, the original factory warranty had run out, but my local BMW dealer recertified it as a CPO and sold it as such. I DO regret selling it though...

Welcome aboard @vics and congrats to you!

The melbourne red is rare to begin with so "yes" it's rare. Any pics? I'd love to see the look of the carbon stamped leather trim?

Not the best photos. I treat it with leather cleaner. It has texture when running the fingers of it, discussion topic for new folks in the X as it comes up often.

Do you have the window sticker and what was your MSRP including the options?

Very nice and beautiful interior. I love the black, however here in Houston it's roasts me in the summer. My previous E46 was Alpine White with the Black leather interior and I loved it, but man it was hot after sitting in the sun all day.
