08/2007 X5 4.8i CPO (51k miles, many options, good condition) NY - $34,500
Hey all, first post here. I never knew this place existed! I've always been at xoutpost. Anyway, I have my X5 CPO that I bought in January 2011 from BMW of Bloomfield with 39,xxx miles on it. I love the truck but am looking to get back into a M3. See below for details. Photos coming tonight/tomorrow. 2007 X5 4.8i - Sapphire Black Metallic - 8/15/07 THE GOOD / OPTIONS & PACKAGES - CPO expires 8/15/13 - 51,0xx miles (just hit 51k 7/12/12) - Cold weather package (heated steering wheel; heated front seats; headlight washers) - Premium package (auto-dimming; panoramic moonroof; bluetooth; BMW assist) - Rear climate package (rear HVAC; privacy glass) - Park distance control (front and rear) - Voice activation - Sport package (includes Adaptive Drive) - Third row (includes air suspension) - Navigation (NOT technology package) - HUD - Comfort access - HD Radio and Sirius radio - Multi contour seats - Sand Beige Napa leather / Dark Burl Walnut Wood - Good-great condition 19" y-spoke wheels (style 211) with about 50% tread left on Mich RFTs - BMW assist for another half a year (give or take) - Genuine BMW winter mats and regular carpet mats and rear cargo liner - Matching cargo cover THE BAD / ISSUES - CarFAX is "bad" (accident from March 2012 which resulted in a minor scuff on the front right fender and has since been fixed with matching paint; $400 job; cops weren't called but it was in a city and they happened to see the accident and came over; willing to show accident report and provide any other proof that this accident was a fender bender) - Dent in passenger front door about the size of a quarter (right on the crease of the door; has been touched up with paint; very unnoticeable) - Passenger rear tail light cracked on bottom due to 2mph impact (no water comes in) - Minor ding here or there (it is an almost 5 year old vehicle after all) MAINTENANCE / OTHER - Recent oil change (200 miles ago) from BMW dealer - Recent front brakes done only 3000~ miles ago by BMW dealer (was under free maintenance plan so rotors and pads replaced and fluid flushed) - Recent rear brakes done only 6000~ miles ago by BMW dealer - Crank shaft position sensor replaced by dealer about 5000 miles ago - Tail lights replaced with new anti-water ones by dealer due to originals flooding (common issue with the original tail lights) - ONLY 91 or 93 octane fuel used - I am second owner; original owner was a doctor in the Hamptons - Never smoked in - Still smells brand new (not kidding, I smell fresh leather every time I get in) - Just passed NYS inspection in June, 2012 I may be missing some other details, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Truck runs great, drives great, feels great and has never let me down. Very fun to drive and I'd love to keep it, but I cannot afford both the X5 and a M3.
