E70 Tailgate Grip for Dogs
Hey guys,
I gave a quick forum search and came up empty so I figured I'd ask the community... does anyone have any experience with putting some sort of textured material (thinking truck bed liner or rubberized coating) on the inside of the tail gate? My dog slips every time jumping out of the truck and just wanted to know if I could put something on it to help a good boy out. Pics of said dog... TIA |

+1 I'd like to know if anyone has done something. Maybe like a stick on rubber mat...annoying that the dogs slid around and are uncomfortable jumping out of the truck.

1st thought...
Look into Raptor Spray Liner ... tape off the area and go to town. Everything I've seen thus far on Raptor is great. You can get it in black and some preset colors, likewise you can get it in clear and add your own pigment to match colors! |

I'll look into this. I am thinking that the way the two pieces over lap that spraying something too thick on will impede it's operation when opening and closing, but maybe it won't. Only one way to find out...

Ahh I see what you mean. Once this stuff dries .. it's textured, but hard, so I would suspect is should still slide effectively.

I purchased this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It's held on by velcro. But, I have a German Shepherd and 175-pound St. Bernard. They don't slip on it. |
