Worn steering wheel help please!!
Hello all, my recently acquired X5 has a worn steering wheel from the previous owner, I'm not sure what happened to it. There is no damage to the leather, just the colour is worn off. Is there someway I can dye this?

If you're willing to do a little DIY work you can go for one of the steering wheel covers that you stitch on. Here's an example of one. I've seen the results of some people that have done it and they look great when done properly. Alternatively you may be able to use some leather dye.
If it were me I'd probably end up going the cover route since it freshen up the look of the wheel.

Try giving it a good cleaning with a quality leather cleaner and a horse hair brush. You would be surprised how many times it’s not actually worn down but just gunk/hand filth/ grease that has built up.
