MD: 2012 X5 xDrive35i
Up for your consideration is my 2012 BMW X5 xDrive35i. It’s been my grocery getter for almost 3 years, but it’s time to find a new home. This vehicle has been a dream to own! It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and has never left me stranded. As a former auto tech, I’ve always been meticulous with all my vehicles and by far, this has been my favorite SUV I’ve owned. I have my eyes on something else, so unfortunately, that means I must sell the X5 to get there. A little background on the car; I purchased it from the 3rd owner (owners wife drove the vehicle) in Virginia at around 85k. Body was very clean; the paint had been taken care of, and that is noticeable when you see the car in person. The interior was immaculate, and the vehicle was garage kept. Currently at 109k, the body and interior are still near perfect. A few rock chips on the hood, which a little touch-up paint will fix. Roof, along the railings, are peeling, which is common on E70s. The wheels were powder coated by the previous seller but do have a couple of blemishes. Also, the driver seat shows very little wear-and-tear (see picture). Motor/Transmission run and shift flawlessly. I’ve driven 4-5 hour road trips without any issues. This thing has been an overall delight to drive long distance. On to the details: 2012 BMW X5 35i Sport Activity (non-third row) Black Sapphire Metallic on Tobacco Nevada Leather with Dark Bamboo Grain Trim • 109,XXX – This will go up slightly. • Two Keys • Clean Title • Carfax does show two damages reported. Both incidents were minor, from what I was informed by the previous owner. I had the vehicle inspected by a certified BMW tech on a lift prior to purchasing. There were no signs of frame/cosmetic/mechanical issues. Features: - Voice activated NAV with traffic information. - Premium sound with satellite, HDD, iPod, and USB support. - Bluetooth audio and phone. - Four zone climate control. - Rear view and top down camera views with park distance control for precision parking. - Panoramic moon roof. - Integrated rear window shades. - Universal garage door opener. - Ambient lighting, auto-dimming mirrors, heated front seats. - Power front seats with driver's side lumbar support. - Power tailgate. - Automatic rain sensing wipers. - Comfort Access keyless entry. - Roof rails. - Vehicle profile memory. Modifications: - Tint - Black grills - Interior and exterior bulbs have all been replaced with LEDs. Engine/Maintenance - Oil has been changed every 3-4k, since I’ve owned it. - Valve cover was replaced 10/2020. - Engine partition replaced 9/2020 - Rear passenger comfort access door handle was replaced 8/2020 - Coolant expansion tank replaced 2/2020 That being said, I do not need help selling this vehicle and have no problem hanging on to it until I receive a reasonable offer. I do not care what KBB says, what you paid for yours, or what your friend got theirs for. If you do not like the price, move along. This is not a thread asking for how much my X5 is worth. I am looking for the person who understands what they are getting at my asking price. Thanks all and 99% of you are appreciated. Pricing: $14,500 OBO Please no tire kickers, especially during Covid. Car is located in Maryland. Last edited by Djgh; 11-30-2020 at 09:32 AM.. |
