Help : P2098 coming back no matter what

Hi all,

My first post here; I need a bit of help with my car I bought for my son. It's a 2009 X5 E70. Ran fine for a few days after bringing it home and then it threw a check engine light.
Had a few codes, and it complained about fuel system trim on both banks, o2 sensors.

I checked exhaust for leaks, couldn't find any. Car being at 160k miles, I ordered and changed all 4 oxygen sensors (Bosch, look like oem, brand new).
I also did plugs, coil packs and all fluids when I bought it...

The P2098 error keeps coming back, and I can't pass inspection due to this (I failed to inspect the car in time when it did not have the problem, stupid me).
I had a look at the bottom side (inside) of the cats when I changed the rear o2 sensors, and the cat mesh inside looked nice, white and smooth, no signs of oil or broken bits.

What else can it be. If it was fueling system, wouldn't it trigger both banks?
My next step it would be to replace the fuel filter and see if I can measure in any form the fuel pressure at the rail... to make sure she's not running lean.. but I don't have a proper gauge.

Many thanks for any feedback.

The easy ones to look at are Air-filter, MAF, Intake air-leak (including vacuum hoses)? Then Leaky injectors?

thanks, but wouldn't leaky injectors cause a rich condition? I did look at the whole intake/vacuum system it looks tight and no leaks/rips around the pcv area.

This car has only a map sensor (manifold air pressure) in the intake, no maf filter like old style intakes. When that is gone, you always get another code for it from what I have seen in other bmw's.. I might just splash and change it, but it is a bit unlikely..
