FOR SALE Come get it today - or I'll keep fixing the needs and the price just goes up. This is an absolute screamer and just needs a few housekeeping items to be fully mechanically sound. I have spent $43k on this while BMW has tossed in $13k of warranty work. You will be getting tremendous value at the current price, but as stated... what I resolve only makes the price go up.

This is the one you want! Forged rods and pistons will not let you down on the most likely failure point of the heart of this machine.

11/19 EDIT: I should have the turbo coolant pump and windshield scratches replaced and resolved this weekend - Price goes to $26.5k then. Next up will be the Oil level sensor and coils/plugs (which is more preventative than anything as they were already replaced before and during the build, respectively) - We'll then be at $28k. Finally the trunk module will be replaced and coded in and the beast will be with zero issues... we'll go to $30k then.

Don't wait... come get it now and do the minimal wrenching bits yourself to save thousands.

We went .020 over and used Carillo rods and Diamond pistons.

Thanks - I think so too... moreover - a 2 year warranty from the builder makes it an exceptional deal with the "peace of mind" factor, IMO.

+1 I have a built motor from Ghassan in my 2013 X5M and know what that cost. This is a steal on a very solid build that can be pushed very hard.

GF bought her 535xiT for $14k like 4yrs ago, I've since had to put like $7k into a Ghassan engine, turbos, my time, etc into it...I've told her she's taking that car to the grave before we take a big loss on it. Why are you selling the X5M vs the dime a dozen Explorer

I'm just curious did you TIG those intakes yourself/ The welding is spectacular! I would love to get the dimensions and so on and so forth and do the same thing/ I have a Lincoln 180/ linefeed I would do with with flux core I guess🤷🏻*♂️/ or if you did it I would really appreciate if you tell me how you did that did you use a argon/CO2 mix? (if you did it yourself) - which I think you did you're good like that 😉
