How to remove roof moldings?

Hello. My roof moldings need to be repainted because paint is removed from them itself. How Can I remove them?

It does not have any screws as I saw.

Hi. They are mounted with clips. Just pull them gently up. Cheers, Rod

Thank you. Will I need to buy new mounted clips? I think that it is very hard to repaint that part because it has small rubbers. Is there any other solution to hide that removed paint without removing that part?

You can remove the rubber easily. Once the strip is off, just remove the end cap and pull out the rubber. To get it back in you will just use some silicone spray and it will slide in.

I have just repainted mine a few days ago

So you say that rubber can be removed from the molding and than can be installed? Were the clips damaged during removing the molding?

So here is how to uninstall them all together, but that's probably not what you want to do... https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...stall-diy.html

Here are all the parts involved:

Sorry the pictures are out of order a bit, but click on the picture and expand it and it has the part numbers including just the rubber...
