How do I store 2 1.5l bottles of Jack? I considered putting one out in the shed, but fluctuations in temperature worry me.
Trust me, that is nowhere near problem level (says the guy who buys scotch by the case). Best storage for spirits is upright in a dark, cool place, and if they have corks you can try to wet them every 3-6months (I just tip the boxes to 45 degrees - but IIRC, the Jack is a screw-top). Sunlight is worse than heat, but neither is good. Liquor is more durable than beer, so I doubt that short term storage would have any noticeable effect (and we all have a bottle out in the garage/shed, right?).

I'll give you that it's sweet. But after a nice salty dinner. It was quite pleasant.

Sad, sad day in the family here. I just cracked my favorite Norlan whiskey glass.

Wife and I cried for hours Okay, it was just me.

Looking for recommendations. Any of you have a go to glass, or just buy two more of the same?

I've been trying whiskeys to see what I like best. First bottle was Maker's 46. I'm on my second bottle which is Woodford Reserve Bourbon. I still don't know the differences between all the kinds of whiskey.

The Woodford Reserve is definitely better than the Maker's 46 in my opinion.

Mixing that with anything is a sin and you will not be forgiven on judgement day

Nice. I am a single malt scotch guy and I have tried so many. One of my main staples is Balvenie 12 yr as well as Oban 14. If you like the Glenmorangie you may also like Glenfiddich 14

Not a big fan of drinking...but felt the need to run through this thread? Must be a slow day on Off Topic

Everyone in this thread makes AA folks look like school girls, us 'not drinking' is like having only a double.

Matter of fact, I say "Hi (enter screen name here)" in monotone after reading every single post in here...except yours, cause you're not a drinker.
