Drives side door unlock

Owned this 2013 X5M about 9 months now and aside from my engine failure (see other thread) I'm waiting for the next shoe to drop. So far been good but tonight a strange issue on unlocking the car with the fob. All doors opened except for drivers side. Couldn't open with inside handle either. Had to pull key from fob and unlock using key lock. Got in and all controls kinda hanky, steering wheel down, seat in wrong place, air conditioning on (instead of heat - in Chicago). Like it lost some memory.

Got it home and tried again and same. All other doors lock/unlock except drivers side. Also, the other doors when you pull to open almost have like a stick to them, but open no problem. Seemed a little off.

Car has 80K on it. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like that might be the culprit.

Not sure how common it would be for the door lock actuator to fail but I've had that happen to the driver door of a Lexus I owned in the past. All the other doors were fine but the drivers door wouldn't unlock with the fob or whatever the Lexus version of comfort access is.

I am not sure that's the case for sure. I had to replace mine this year but while it was broken my door still locked and unlocked with key fob. In addition, all of my settings were still working fine.

I might have spoke too soon. Turns out none of the doors are locking or unlocking either. Replaced the battery in the fob no change. The fob is actuating the circuit it seems as the lights blink and I can her a click back near the hatch but it seems like it's not actuating the lock/unlock in the doors. So I hit lock and the lights blink but doors don't lock. Hmm...need to find what actuates the locking in the door mechanism.

Might be a trip to the dealer...ugh.

Ouch. Was that a diagnostic fee and a cheap fuse to get to $179?
