QUESTION - Advice needed on Best Intake Scoops & Air Filter Available for bmw x6 35i

I've been searching for a while on the best Intake scoops/ and air filter for my 2010 x6 35i. I heard RPI has one of the best intake scoops in the business and read some good feedbacks on aFe's air filter. Please, I need your advice guys.

i hear the replacement of the drop in filters doesn't have any noticable gain. No comment w/ regard to the air scoops. I had them on my FBO 335 and did not notice any performance improvement.

not sure about the drop ins, i would assume some sound enhancement. I had the dual cone intakes on my 335 (n54 engine, + tune) and you could certainly hear the turbos more. A single cone intake (like the AFE, out for the 135/335 N55 engine) will probably work best but there is none (off the shelf anyways) for the N55 x5/x6 as far as I know.

What tune are you running? If you are stock (no tune), mods like that are pretty much not worth the time/$ as they won't yield much gain.

I'm running on the BMW Performance power kit version 1 yet I'm switching to JB4 (N54 tune) probably in two weeks. Thanks a lot mate for the extra info, I appreciate it.
