Rear Bumper Deep Scratch Repair Estimate

Looking at a G80 for sale and trying to figure out if this scratch is repairable without respraying the entire bumper. Scratch is about the size of a dime. Dealer is offering the car at a decent price but if I need to respray the bumper, then I'll probably avoid dealing with that headache.

You can use touch up but that only serves to draw your eye away from the scratch in passing. The only real solution here is a full respray.

Knowing me, it'll probably stick out every single time I look at the rear bumper. Not worth buying a car that'll leave me feeling uneasy, so I'll pass on this one.

Appreciate the input 👍

I would try buffing those white scratches out with some polish. And I would use DR. Color chip (gel like self leveling paint) to fill the black voids. Cost you 75-100 bucks.

You might be able to pull it off 95% perfect. If that doesnt work, then go in for a PDR air brush repair. Not a full respray. I would just get one of those air brush bumper guys. They can match that perfectly.

^Spot on, the white scratches are clear coat issues, that can be lightly wet sanded and buffed, but the other are too deep. Would need repair and repaint.
