Awesome. Very inspiring. I never even knew that AVIN upgrade existed. $399 right now is very tempting- although coming from the E36 the E70 has plenty enough tech for me.

Exhaust set up sounds great - my only worry is that it is too loud. I have no problem with noise as the driver, but don't want to be obnoxious in the mornings, etc.

The full system is? Muffler delete, x-pipe, catless DPs and tips? That sounds much more enticing than paying $4k+ for the Meisterschaft system and another $2k for dps.

That's correct! And it's loud only at cold start, you can code that out, but it's only for a minute or so. My neighbors all have loud trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, etc, so don't seem to mind much. I also don't drive it too much. Once I put the crosspipe in, it took away the raspy sound and gave it more of a refined loud. It's not overbearing or obnoxious. Also, it sounds like a V8 with some turbos mixed in. Haven't run into anyone that said they didn't like the sound of it.

I would say the exhaust in total was under $1000 from turbo back.

I just got one like this. Magnaflow makes a nicer one, but it's just a crosspipe. I just had a shop weld it in place, whole thing was less that $100 installed. One side clamps on, the other is welded.

Added some floor mats. I have the weather tech style mats, but wanted to test these out based on them covering all up the sides and fronts of the seats. They came with clips to slide under the plastics to hold them in place, I haven't put them on yet. Also, they come shipped in a bag, all folded up, so I'll see if some of these creases go away. First glance, I'm really happy with them.

They're also water proof and should really keep the carpets clean and fresh. I love diamond stitching too.

^ these are awesome, I'm not sure which brand u got, I ordered lighter version from Russia little over a year ago and they held up very well through all 4 seasons, also very easy to clean! u won't be needing WeatherTechs anymore
