Need OBD recommendation for '12 X5M
My wife's X5M threw a CEL, and my el-cheapo scanner won't read the code.
I was told it required a special BMW scanner? If not, what do you recommend I buy?

Bimmergeeks Protool is awesome but kinda pricey, however it codes and can reset modules. Carly also works pretty good for basic scanning/error clearing/basic coding.

Another vote for Bimmergeeks ProTool if you have an android phone or tablet than can run the app.
