Hardwire Power for Radar Detector - Front Fusebox?

Has anyone hardwired their radar detector into the front fusebox on the E70? I have it this way on my E90 and I really like it. I utilized an empty fuse slot for a switched power (KL15) and ran the fused power line to the radar detector. Was wondering if anyone knows an empty KL15 spot on the E70 front fuse box.

Thanks

I had a shop do it for me with a dash cam, cost $115, so it should be possible, i don't know where the fuse is however.

I used something like this and tapped into the power at the mirror. I can't remember exactly what wires were 12v and ground, but it wasn't too hard to figure out with a multimeter.

I did the same as Lasel and just tapped into the mirror power supply, works excellent. I'll take some pics in the next day or two of the wires I used as I am about to take it apart again to hide the Valentine 1 Bluetooth module in the mirror mount.

damn, so nobody uses the front fusebox? I like this option because it provides a dedicated spot for it and it's installed with an inline fuse. Also when I tried using one of those backprobe-type setups on my E90 the pins kept falling out because they didn't fit right.

This is what I did in my E90
