E70 sunroof rubber seal bumps

Hi all,

Recently my roof top rubber seal is suffering bumps even when the sunroof is shut. while i cannot open the upper part of the roof, i have no idea how to fix it.
Anyone would have any advise?

I believed mine started occurring after 2 days parked until direct sunlight of about 32 degrees C. I tried to clean the gap in between but it seems not helping on the issue. Let's catch up to see how it goes, thanks.

You can clean it really good with degreaser and apply some silicone sealant, press it down, clean around it, and mask tape it while it dries.

Or replace the seal which requires you to remove the rear glass. I did this and it was a pita putting the glass back.
