Quad exhaust tips

Have some exhaust work planned and need help with tips. Has anyone with the M sport bumper tried replacing the factory tips with dual tips on each side? What did you use?

I want to use these 3.5” tips from Vibrant but it’s going to be a very, very close fit.

Would love to hear back any progress you've had with this. I have a 2013 Xdrive50i which I'm also considering doing a custom exhaust on and have similar questions to yours. Subbed!

Cant speak for the 35i but the 50i will just squeeze in two 3.5" tips on each side, I am installing these this weekend, below are pics of me sizing it up. I am installing pneumatic cutouts in the stock muffler too (50i has one of the most restrictive muffler designs ever made) you might be interested in doing too.

Looks great. I would assume the bumpers between the 35i and 50i are the same. Got any pics from under the bumper? How big is the exhaust cutout on your bumper? Wonder if there is a size difference between M sport and regular LCI.

I’ll be removing the stock muffler and having a pair of resonators installed in its place. The setup sounds good on other N55 cars so hopefully I get the same result

Thanks and sure here are some pics and a few from under the bumper, the 50i has one of the most restrictive designs, I think the 35I has a better design. I assume this was done on purpose to keep the power out of M territory, will be interesting how it effects the power, right now it feels like the engine runs out of steam around 5K but intake is a joke too (that next). It just barely fits with the cutouts.

In process of making final connections, outside exhaust tips will be for cutouts, inner tips will be for stock.. Will post up some clips how it sounds with the cutouts open.
