Well...it looks pretty clean from the repairs but I don't read whatever language it's in so it's difficult to tell what the listing says. Look at the service history of the car and see about having an independent BMW guy look it over.

Looks nice and clean.

BUT

Always get a BMW certified mechanic to check it out and test drive before you buy.

I don't want to be too negative but I'd be concerned with the emissions components if that model has them.

Many people have problems with the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) around the 150k mile / 240k km range... Some BMW apps like Carly and Bimmerlife have an estimated life expectancy. If there are no emissions laws there you can gut the DPF and get it tuned out.

I dont know if that model has an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system or not but on US cars xdrive35d models the cooler is known to crack. Also exhaust recirculating into the intake manifold causes carbon buildup. Again this can be deleted and tuned out.

Besides emissions stuff the top things I would look out for include the following, but these are minor compared to emissions stuff:
-The thermostats lose accuracy over time and need to be replaced periodically. (It wont throw a code for the thermostat, but the lower operating temp could cause other issues)
-The glow plug modules go bad usually under 100k miles.
-The harmonic balancer is made with rubber and cracks/fails.

Garage List
If you are afraid of costly repairs do not buy this vehicle. This is a great SUV but low cost per mile is not one of its advantages.

my mechanic checked my car and didnt find any problems.. he did find out via the dealer that the auto shifter was rebuilt last year for 3500 usd..

The Engine is the older type M57 3.0d.. 160k miles on it... my mexhanic told me I dont have to change the chain on this one...

Different issues have been seen in the BMW engines like the timing chain problem. These issues have been prevalent in some variants of the BMW 320d 2.0 Diesel, 520D 2.0 Diesel and X5 330D 3.0 Diesel.
