New to me X5 4.8is

Just picked up a beautiful Le Mans Blue 2006 X5 4.8is with only 122,000 miles. Plan to fix a few bugs the car has now as well as do an oil, filter change, new pads and drilled rotors as well as powder coat the calipers.

Next up some sport mufflers, an intake and a quality tune.

She already drives better than my last few newer Bimmers.

Happy to be back on the forums. Any help or guidance with this beast is appreciated!

Nice, I had an '06 LeMans/Creme Beige 4.8iS and '02 BSM/Black 4.6iS previously. Love the E53s.

Careful on the Valve Stem Seals, Heated Driver Seat coil, Window Regulators, Air Suspension

Thank you! Love the simplicity of the way she drives. I have a newer S6 tuned and although it's super quick this car drives so nicely. Appreciate the help

I had a 4.8is in blue with the full Dinan package. Miss that vehicle.

Wow that sounds beautiful. Dinan stopped making parts for this truck and people are selling them used on EBay for silly money. My plan is Resonator Delete, Intake and the Turner Motorsports tune. But wish I could do Dinan and throw the badge on her.

Check Xoutpost, you may find some dinan goodies from time to time. I remember selling a brand new DINAN cold air intake on there a couple years ago, and I saw DINAN exhaust on there as well.
