Well either way I'll report back of something pops up.

My emissions isn't due till March of next year so just getting ahead right now. If this doesn't work out then I'll have sometime in Jan to throw the stock Downpipes on.

This seems pretty cool as well. Looks promising.

We should definitely try all these methods...one has got to work!

I'll report back if I get a code or the fuel system still stays incomplete.

Drives cycles, proper cycling of the fuel loop and correct o2 sensor readings within a defined range during different operating conditions are the requirements for the fuel system to complete.

You can do a drive cycle by letting the truck sit overnight then going for a drive and maintaining a speed of 55mph in 3rd for around 8-10 minutes

I could not get my fuel system monitor to be ready - I have some good monitoring setup at all times so I know it was doing the proper cycles and getting correct o2 readings and every other monitor was good except the fuel system.

Maybe in my case it is just an adaptation reset - I put about 1k miles without a CEL and no fuel system monitor complete

Those sound pretty awesome if they actually work. And $240 is WELL worth it when you consider the time it would take to remove downpipes, install stock downpipes, flash to stock, and then reverse the process just to pass emissions every couple years.

Alright so I got a code for bank 2 again, the one with the old sensor. I replaced that. Then got a code for bank 1 this evening. It's safe to say this option isn't working out.

Well that cost about 250$ to prove out, lol.

I'll look into ordering the simulator that sophisticated redneck mentioned.

I contacted the company and they said they will offer a refund if it doesn't work, as long as I troubleshoot with them first if it doesn't work.

The method that worked for me was to use a down pipe with both sensors still installed and used a set of sensor spacers on the post cat sensors to simulate how the cats change airflow.

That is a permanent fix for passing.

Spacers did not work for me. Tried different orifice sizes and still no dice.

So I will likely be going the iO2 simulator route. The Bosche sensor wiring seems to be the following:

Black: sensor signal wire
Gray: signal ground wire
White wire directly opposite to black wire is heater power wire
White wire directly opposite to gray wire is heater ground.

Another new one. AS for pics I sure don't, I don't have the car any longer that I did this on. 02 sensor spacers do work, but its a bit of trial and error as you have to adjust them just right to trick the computer. Its not just install. But once dialed in you'll always pass. I paid someone to install them for me, and they worked like a champ.

That's awesome man. Really hope they work! I'm guessing they will if the company said they'd offer a refund if they didn't.

Yea exactly. This is my last effort to resolve this before I throw the stock Downpipes back on.

Luckily I have a little bit of time before my inspection (next year) so just trying to get ahead of it to see if I'll need to spend a weekend putting the old downpipes back on.

I'll update again once the sims arrive.

The sims from area 74 have arrived. Much smaller than I expected. Took pics next to a Micro SD card for size comparison.

Yup, Just double checking now on the wiring for the sensor itself, to see which is heat power and head ground.

Maybe someone can help me make sense of this....there are 4 wires for each downstream sensor. The attached are from ista+.

I cannot conclusively figure out which is Oxygen signal, oxygen ground, heater power and heater ground.

Spoke with the vendor.

I will be wiring it as the following:

#4 DME side yellow...will be splicing this into the black wire on sensor side. Yellow going towards connector/DME side and white to sensor.

Red from simulator to #1 this is the white wire directly below the black wire on sensor

Black wire from simulator to to #3. This is the gray wire on sensor.
