Help me decide my interior trim
I致e decided I知 going to wrap my interior trim. Currently the car sits with full black interior and dark walnut wood trim. I want to wrap in carbon fiber but I知 torn on going with the satin 3D pattern or high gloss version.
The 3M di-noc has a nice satin look and has some texture to it, almost like the carbon leather BMW offers. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005HYF2IO...v_ov_lig_dp_it Vvivid Epoxy gloss black is what it sounds like. Super high gloss, and by many accounts, one of the closest matches to true carbon fiber. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B3FAYO2...v_ov_lig_dp_it I just can稚 decide between them. What say you guys? |

I did the high gloss on my faded R230 SL500 rear roof panels and it looks great-subtle.

High gloss it is. Now I just gotta figure out how to pull the center trim pieces. Haven’t heard good things about doing that

Hi,
I wrapped mine a few years ago with the di-noc (there were no good gloss options then) and just did all of them in place. Much easier than pulling the door cards and particularly the center trim. Just sayin' John

Cut it a little long and tuck it behind the piece you are wrapping so it covers around the edges, don't just cut it at the edge.
Makes an easier cleaner install, keeps it from peeling back, and eliminates any chance of cutting into the surrounding trim pieces by accident.
