tuning for 2009 x6
Greetings. I own a 2009 35i VR sport etc. Its a fairly loaded vehicle missing only the audio package which I regret. Unfortunately it has the first revision of the iDrive for X6 no usb no hdrive and dvd based nav. Anyway, I have a situation where I can request a good bit of free time/parts from service and I'm unsure what to ask for that would have value and was really hoping for some advice based on the model.
Some ideas: Tuning upgrade adds hp and torque? 1500.00 is this hardware or just tweaking? part or service number for a request? iDrive software ware and or firmware upgrade, 200.00 part or service number for a request? Y cable for aux in? (no usb, having signal issues with anything that uses the 30 pin connector. Even the aux jack gets some fuzz with iPhone. Up for any suggestions, taking it in next week and can really lay out a substantial request. First time poster, new to the forum, love the X6 traded in a 2009 x5 35d for it. Thanks, Vincent |

Welcome to the forum.
Unless u travel a lot out of state, navigation may not be necessary 4 u, especially if u have other cars, a portable nav. unit may be better. Just the convenience of not having to set up in each vehicle. I'd get the hard drive or at least the aux input & cable for ur ipod or iphone music. Also get the tire road hazard insurance, for damaged tire replacement coverage. |
