There is an M-Sport package, which basically consists of M badging everywhere on the interior, different/painted bumpers and rockers, and thicker steering wheel

Not for the US or at least not on oct 24 when I ordered mine and I dug around to try to get it because I liked it on my 335i.
In the US you have to order the $2,800 performance package for install at the dealer. It includes side skirts, diffuser and front bumper. About $800 for paint and fit see here. it also requires new pdc's for the front so they told me. For the rest of it like the badges, door sills, pedals, steering wheel etc you'll have to do that yourself + I'm assuming the sport package at $4k. It's only money Some modders on here have probably figured it all out. I believe you can order a m sport package for Europe but I don't understand why not in the US. |

Yes i know about the aftermarket trim - however i don't like it. You would still have the black rubber around the car and on top of it the trim peaces. It does not look the same as M Package X5 to where everything is all the same color.

vencid 78 - yep i agree not the best so that's why i ordered black sapphire to go with the perf package.
Those little details you mentioned like the the trim pieces - why an earth do do they do that and yes it makes a difference. I am sure you can order the trim and paint to match after market but not sure why they don't give us the choice. The black trim pieces cheapen the car - which is not cheap. It's a bit like the wing mirror trim pieces - ugly. |
