2011 X5 transmission issues
2011 X5 3.0i 130,000 miles. I replaced the transmission myself with a used one with a warranty. The job was not too bad, but does it need to be reset or married to the vehicle with a computer? The engine ran fine before but now it revs up and down at idle and transmission won't shift out of park. any ideas?

According to TIS you do need to reprogram. I'm not sure exactly what that entails though.

I would suggest getting a laptop with ISTA up and running and you should be able to take care of it yourself.
