Hey Guys,

Just wanted to know if the ticking noise on idle and when driving at times is normal?

It’s sometimes there and sometimes not present at all.

Also I have recently changed the Auxiliary turbo pump cooler, but when I go full throttle the engine light comes on and a diagnostic was done it says the Aux cooler is missing.

Could it be a wiring problem?

Are you sure you securely clipped the electrical cable back to the pump? Do you hear the pump running after driving and turning the car off?

Yes, I’ve checked all wiring.

Now it’s doing something new, the engine randomly goes into limp mode🙈 so I got to move on to the side of the road switch it off wait 10 seconds then start it again.

Guess I need to check the coil packs and maybe spray all connectors with contact spray.

You can check codes with INPA or ISTA+/ista-d and a K+Dcan cable. Or a simpler way would be something like protool or Carly on your phone with the appropriate OBD connector.

Easiest solution so you can check the codes soon is to stop at an auto parts store and ask them to read the codes for you.
