Consensus of S63 + BMW Twin Power 10w-60 Oil?
My X6M is going thru oil like a mofo. Is the Shell Helix Ultra-based 10w-60 oil gonna blow out the valve stem seals?

Hot Weather ONLY....
The 10w-60 is fine in extreme ambient temps only(110F+).

I would never use an oil of that weight in an engine designed for 5-30. It’s too likely to not flow well into tight bearing clearances and starve them for oil, boom blown bearings.
Fix your oil consumption problem, don’t try to fix it with out of spec oil which will damage your engine in other ways. Or use at-205 to try and revive those seals. |
