I stumbled upon one a few days ago, which seemed to be in great shape and seller asking for a fair (ish) price

(higher miles than you wanted but, its just 30k, which I cant imagine being a "deal breaker")

Thanks for sending, I actually saw that one. The price is good for the mileage but I don’t want to start my ownership at 110k.

There’s one at a dealership in Torrance that I test drove and was super solid mechanically, less than 80k miles, but some minor cosmetic stuff that I’d want to address. It’s priced well enough that I’ll likely buy it and get that work done, still comes in under my budget. Would obviously rather buy a squeaky clean one from a private seller though!

Bump- passed on the one at the dealer, and reminded why I hate buying cars from dealerships.

Let me know if you’re looking to sell! 480-688-7190

First one required I sign on for financing with them to get the Option Purchase Contract even though I planned to finance through my credit union- their financing rates were at 6%, and my credit is excellent. I bailed.

Second one was a clean 50i, had CCP done in 2019, priced very well. Got to the dealer, test drove, all was great. Went in to talk numbers, and the dealership had added $5k in Ceramic Coating, Scotchguard, and LoJack to the price of the car. Ugh. Would be great to find a private party car to avoid a dealer and the associated BS.

Opening up the search to a 50i as well, provided it’s had the N63 Customer Care Package done and the Valve Stems swapped out.

Man that ticks all the boxes. I’ll have to look into shipping, not sure how I feel about buying sight unseen and shipping it to myself

Not trying to sway you one way or the other, but I've done it a couple times including for an X5d from this very site. A lot depends on the conversation with the seller and whether or not you get a good feeling from them, and of course have a PPI done. I usually want something very specific so it usually requires a nationwide search. Good luck.
