EGR and DPF Delete

I deleted my EGR completely a couple months ago and fuel economy got better but now its using more fuel, when i look at the DPF soot level in Carly its at 15-16g's and regen request changes between 4 and 6, EGT's are 400-450c, so it looks like its trying to regen but cant get the temp high enough which makes me wonder if they use the EGR to get the EGTs up to 600-650c.

Also has anyone used a superchips bluefin or tuning box to delete the DPF?

If you have carly, check your coolant temps. Is it hitting 190*f or 88*c? If it's anything lower than 85 while running for a while, in normal driving, then your thermostat is bad. Causes the engine to run rich and think it's still cold. MAin reason mpg ever goes down, and the MPG drop is the primary way to find the shot thermostat.
