I have for sale my 2012 X5M. The car is in great condition, with only a few imperfections mainly rock chips on the rear fender flare. Interior is nearly flawless. The vehicle is very highly equipped with every option minus the rear entertainment package. I will post the build sheet I received from the original dealer. The vehicle is bone stock except for a LUX headlight kit that allows you to choose the warmth of the halos. I have owned it for about a year and a half and was planning on keeping it for a very long time however it is my wife's car and her commute went from 7 miles a day to 110 therefore we are selling it for something slightly more economical (thinking a Tesla). The body of the car has 103000 miles on it however the engine only has 43000. As documented here on the forums last fall the oil pump malfunctioned (a known rare occurrence with the s63 engine) and the engine was starved of oil for a brief moment. It was long enough to score the cylinders and I was recommended to replace the engine. I ended up finding a very clean replacement with 38,xxx miles on it. A reputable local Indy shop who specializes in German vehicles did the replacement for me. While he was in the he replaced basically every wear item in the engine bay, as well as new radiators, brand new turbos (we could have rebuilt the old ones but we were focused on reliability so I bit the bullet), and so much more. The whole repair was over 13,000, with 2,500 of that labor, 5,500, the engine, 2,600 the turbos, and the rest being misc parts to make sure that the car would run forever. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm sure I forgot something so just ask. Phone is 515-three three nine-4063. Thanks! Car is located in Kansas City currently but live in Des Moines as well and travel between the two frequently if you'd like to see it in either city that can be arranged! |

Did I see this in Des Moines yesterday? I thought the windows were tinted though, you look like you have the clears... I was able to get mine sold in Des Moines, think I got lucky more than anything. The buyer was awesome and of all the places I posted, Craigslist was what got it sold. Cars and coffee with a for sale sign also got some attention. Good luck with the sale!
