X6M Where does this hose go to?

This is my first M car I've had and I'm really confused to where this line goes and what it connects to. It seems to go to through the firewall. If anyone could tell me I would appreciate it.

could this be the vacuum line that runs back to the exhaust to open and close the valve on the tailpipes?

It's the washer fluid line to rear hatch...
